Can't get Windows 10 app - Fitbit Community
SO again - can't get the app to download, can't download from the site from IE or Chrome. I DO NOT have an issue with syncing my info yet because I do not have the app on my computer yet. **Thanks. This is only their initial release, and I'm already loving their Fitbit app. Looks terrific and uses the Windows Phone modern UI. App lets you log food, water, and activity very nicely.
This is a must have app if you use a Fitbit device! I like the app when it's working, but I've had to uninstall and reinstall it 5 times now because after a couple weeks it just wont sync fitbit app will not download my fitbit surge anymore. I've looked this up online and apparently it's fairly common with Windows 10 and is not a new problem. The only solution I could find that works fitbit app will not download uninstall, reinstall.
An update that fixes this would be nice. Update Yet again I have to uninstall and reinstall the app to get it working. Every couple of weeks this happens and I know I'm not the only one. From a quick internet search it's apparent this has been a problem for while. Please try and fix this Update Happened again, the solution is to never close the app. But if you restart your computer and it closes Kind of getting tired of this. Update Still doesn't sync consistently, new computer, new OS, new fitbit, new phone Fix your app.
I know I'm not the only one with issues. Won't run on Windows 10 Tried uninstalling and reinstalling twice. No luck. I got a new Charge 3 and it won't stay connected - not on my phone, not on my pc.
SO frustrating. Why would the new model be less compatible than the old model Alta?!?! The app does not work as described. Will not recognize FitBit Charge 3 on Windows 10 bluetooth capable laptop. First set up appeared to go through but when it went to updates it failed and refuses to allow set up again. Says I need to set it up again but no response. None of the suggestions to correct it work. Waste of time. It should NOT be so difficult to fix the date and time on my Fitbit.

It is not user friendly. Very difficult to find answers to questions that come up. Also difficult to find a way to get answers online that are not "Community" based forums.
I've tried multiple times on multiple computers. Huge waste of money. I am not on my third fitbit in 3 months. The first one was able to synch for only about two weeks and the technician could do nothing to make it work properly. They sent me a second one since It was still under warranty. I could not get the second one to be recognized on my Windows 10 laptop. Bluetooth could find it but the Fitbit app could not. Spent another hour working with the Fitbit folks and they finally sent me a third one.
Finally had time to sit down tonight and install it after deleteing the other twoand this one has all the same problems. I've wasted hours getting this to work properly. The device itself is great BUT I want to be able to see my sleep patterns which you cannot do on the device itself. VERY frustrating. Currently installed on Win10 ver build Charge3 firmware 1.
Very spotty synchronization between Charge3 and android phones, even with most recent updates, fitbit app will not download. Synchronization when it occurs takes several minutes to complete in which you are in the dark as to whether its a sync issue or just slow data transfer. The auto-recognize feature of the Charge 3 with Fitbit app has become basically unreliable and useless since about 12 April period of updates. At this point in time, it is nice in advertised features but very short in results, fitbit app will not download.
